For best results, apply over a prepared base of Sadolin Classic, particularly on bare or highly absorbent timber. Two coats of Extra provide maximum protection and an even, long-lasting finish. Always treat end grains and cut edges generously, as these areas are most vulnerable to moisture ingress.
